Panama-California Exposition

Full-size reprint of the original poster depicts the California Building and the Cabrillo Bridge entrance on the wonderful Prado that San Diegans know and love. This Exposition was held in Balboa Park to celebrate the opening of the Panama Canal in 1915 and extended for a second year in 1916. City fathers hoped San Diego would become "the first port of call west of the canal" -- while that didn't quite happen, San Diego may be better off. Exposition poster reprint: 24" by 36" $25 each
