Temporary passenger elevator closure beginning January 14 through April 4, 2014
The City of San Diego is upgrading our elevator to meet ADA requirements and to improve the guest experience for all our visitors. This work will require temporary closure of the passenger elevator at our museum for approximately 6-8 weeks. We will remain open during this period and access to the museum level will not be affected. Access to the library (lower level) and offices (third floor) can be obtained by using our staircase on the museum level. We apologize for any inconvenience due to construction debris and/or noise during this much needed improvement. Please feel free to contact San Diego City if you have any questions or concerns.
