Inside Lights on the Building of San Diego's Exposition : 1935 is a reissue of Requa's first-hand account of the race with time to create the 1935 California Pacific Exposition in Balboa Park. As Director of Architecture for the Exposition, Requa was responsible for the development of the Palisades section, south of the Spreckels Organ Pavilion, as well as a wonderful remodeling of the House of Hospitality (the 1915 Exposition's Foreign Arts Building).
