The San Diego History Center and San Diego Humane Society partnered on a week-long event that celebrated the release of the new Dr. Seuss book What Pet Should I Get? and the History Center’s exhibition, INGENIOUS! The World of Dr. Seuss.

In concert with themes of responsibility and good judgement the book promotes, the History Center donated 50% of its gross admission revenue from Saturday, August 1 through Friday, August 7 to the San Diego Humane Society to support adoption programs for local animals.
