p. 25 photo caption: Normal Heights Central School, 1912, located at Adams Avenue and 40th Street (formerly Mansfield).

p. 30 top photo caption: The polling place for the Normal Heights Precinct during the 1925 annexation election was in this garage behind 4805 Hawley Blvd., and faced Jefferson (Collier) Avenue. 4503 42nd Street (Wilson) which faced Monroe Avenue. The 1924 Great Register of San Diego listed 369 registered voters This precinct, according to the 1924 Great Register of San Diego, had 369 registered voters: 222 republican, 94 Democrat, 5 Socialist, 1 Prohibition Party, and 47 who chose Non-partisan. N-partisan
