A description of 355 historical outings with a brief description of the place or event and the address and phone numbers for further information. With this guide there's no excuse to spend a Sunday watching TV. There's lots of interesting sites and events. There is a listing of all the historical organizations in Southern California and a great index. For San Diego the listing hits the high points including tours of the Gaslamp District, Old Town, the Maritime Museum but strangely omits a visit to the San Diego Historical Society Museum of History. Otherwise, a wonderful compilation of interesting things to do.
