Ollie Montgomery Perry (Mrs. John L. Perry)

b. Missouri May 25, 1881
d. San Diego, California March 21, 1964

Ollie and her husband moved to San Diego about 1915, and she received some art instruction from Alfred R. Mitchell in this city. Specializing in still-life and flower pieces, Ollie exhibited one of these at the California Pacific International Exposition in 1935. After the exposition, she maintained a studio in the Spanish Village, where she was a member of Los SURENOS Art Center. A member of the San Diego Art Guild, she frequently exhibited in the 1930s and 1940s.
