Eric Beerman, a native of California, received his doctorate
from the University of Madrid in Spain where he has resided for the past twelve
years, dedicated to research and writing on the Spanish historical and
genealogical heritage in the Americas. He is a former official of the
Department of State in Latin America and Washington D.C. and worked for the
Gulf Oil Company in Venezuela.
