Mostly general views from 1938 to 1939 of ground-breaking ceremony for San Diego Police Station on Market Street and construction progress. Also includes group portraits of police officers, mug shots of criminals, and law enforcement activities ca. 1920s and 1930s, some depicting Prohibition-era stills and police dumping illegal barrels of wine. Of special note, photographs of original members of San Diego Police Department Boy Scout Troop and aviator Douglas G. “Wrong Way” Corrigan at Lindbergh Field.
