Using historic photographs from SDHC's Photograph Collection, images of Collections pieces, supporting documentation, and periodic visits to the Document Archives, this course will immerse you not only in San Diego's artistic past, but introduce you to the array of historical resources held within the SDHC Collection. Part 2 focuses on the early art colonies like the Green Dragon Colony; the introduction of the Prairie-style; the artistic displays of the 1915 Exposition, early film and movie stars, to San Diego's 'Harlem of the West'.   Click here for Part 3 description.
