Current Projects

A City at War: digitally recorded video interviews with of those who lived and fought World War II on the San Diego home front.

Land Development: interviews with those who have been instrumental in the development of San Diego’s ever expanding metropolitan and urban landscapes, and those who have opposed development or have sought greater regulation.

Southeast Asian San Diegans: interviews in the Filipino, Vietnamese and Cambodian communities of San Diego.

East African San Diegans: interviews with recent immigrants to San Diego from East Africa.

The Border: interviews with immigrants from Mexico and Central America, Latino Americans who’s families immigrated from Mexico and individuals who have been involved with the border or border issues.

Neighborhood Histories: interviews with the older residents of San Diego’s neighborhoods.

New Industries: interviews with those have been involved in the biotech and telecommunications industries in San Diego.
