Recordings made at San Diego Historical Society on Jan. 22, 1998, with Tascam PS-D1 DAT recorder and two Sony ECM-170 microphones by Steve Schoenherr and Miles Johnston. Schoenherr, Associate Professor of History at University of San Diego, has created an excellent on-line history of recording technology.
